By completing the submission process, you agree to the LatArXiv Article Submission Terms, which are as follows:
All content and supplemental materials you submit are collectively referred to (if applicable) as the "Content" in the Article Submission Terms.
You confirm and warrant that:
- You are either (i) the sole author/creator of the Content, or (ii) an authorized co-author/co-creator of the Content.
- All information you have provided during the submission process is complete, true and accurate.
- You grant LatArXiv the non-exclusive right to host the Content on the LatArXiv site (the "Site") and distribute it from the Site consistent with any public use license included in the Content (such as a Creative Commons license). In the event that you have indicated a specific license, LatArXiv decides whether or not to use that license. You understand and agree that LatArXiv may sublicense these rights to its affiliates, partners and contractors worldwide in perpetuity to facilitate the hosting and distribution of the Content.
- The Content does not contain anything that infringes any existing copyright or license or any other intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Appropriate acknowledgments to the original sources of all third party materials in the Content have been included, and, in the case of third party audiovisual material, appropriate release forms have been obtained from the persons whose likenesses are depicted.
- The Content does not contain anything that violates a duty of confidentiality or discloses any private or personal information of any person without that person's written consent.

- Information about your identity, academic or research position, qualifications, and academic or commercial affiliations are accurate.
- You have truthfully communicated the terms and conditions described herein to any other co-author or involved party and they agree to these terms.
- You understand and agree that:
- Upon successful completion of this submission process, LatArXiv may make the Content available on the Site consistent with any public use license included in the Content (such as a Creative Commons license), or that which you have indicated on the submission form.
- Publication of the Content on the Site does not mean that the Content is accepted for formal peer review and/or publication of the Content by LatArXiv's membership journals, or any other publisher in any journal.
- LatArXiv reserves the right, for any reason, to reject submitted Content and to refrain from publishing it on the Site and/or to remove Content from the Site, at any time.
- All users of the Site may have the ability to add comments and annotations to the Content through the OPS integration with Hypothesis, but may not submit new versions of the Content.
- LatArXiv reserves the right to, for any reason, edit or remove any metadata (information about a submission) submitted in connection with the Content.

(b) Name and Logo
User agrees not to use the name/logo of Paideia Services Publishing, LatArXiv or any third party service for any promotional or commercial purpose or for any other purpose without the prior written consent of the applicable organization.
(c) Prohibited Use
Other than accessing the LatArXiv system as contemplated herein, and other than as permitted under any applicable public use license, all other uses are prohibited.
Eligibility
You represent and warrant that (a) you have not previously been suspended or removed from the Services; (b) you have full power and authority to enter into these Terms of Use and Legal and in doing so you will not violate any other agreement to which you are a party.
LatArXiv may deny service without notice to any user for any reason or no reason.
Registration and Password
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their information and password. User is responsible for all usage associated with User's registration and compliance with all Terms of Use and Legal Notices. You are prohibited from selling, trading or otherwise transferring your account or any information in it to another party or charging anyone for access to the Services. If you knowingly provide your login and password information to another person, your account privileges may be temporarily suspended or terminated. Therefore, if you have an idea or information that you wish to keep confidential and/or that you do not want others to use, do not post such information or ideas.

Suspension or Termination of Account Privileges
LatArXiv reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to pursue all of its legal remedies, including but not limited to removal of User's submissions or comments. In addition, LatArXiv may, with or without cause, immediately suspend or terminate User's account privileges, including access to the Services without notice.
Termination of your account includes removal of access to all offerings within the Services and may also prohibit you from future use of the Services.
LatArXiv, Paideia Publishing Services, any other participating organizations and any third party services shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any termination of your account or access to the Services, whether such termination is voluntary, for technical failure or any other reason.
Export of Technical Data
You access the Services at your own risk. Recognizing the global nature of the Internet, you agree to comply with all applicable local rules, including but not limited to rules regarding online conduct and acceptable content. Specifically, you agree to comply with all applicable laws regarding the transmission of technical data exported from the country in which you reside.
LatArXiv Communications
In the course of providing the Services to you, LatArXiv may need to communicate with you via email. You agree to receive e-mails that are specific to your account and necessary for the normal operation of the Services. You also agree to have your name and/or email address listed in the header of certain communications you initiate through the Services.
Monitoring and Enforcement
Although LatArXiv has the right to monitor activity and content associated with the Services, LatArXiv is not obligated to do so. Memberships and members
Every magazine, publishing house or other that adopted a membership in LatArXiv is responsible for making fulfill and to watch over these terms as well as any policy of the server that corresponds to the case. Additionally, it is responsible for the correct valuation of the content that it spreads and for its supervision.
The integration between your editorial management system (OJS) and LatArXiv through the LatArXiv PrePrints plugin is facilitated by Paideia Publishing Services LLC as an optional technical service. The publishing journal is solely responsible for the content it dispatches as a preprint, including verification of authorship, originality, usage rights, and compliance with LatArXiv's editorial policies prior to any submission. Paideia Publishing Services LLC assumes no responsibility for content published through the use of the API key assigned to the journal, nor for actions performed from the journal's OJS system. The API key is for the exclusive use of the journal, and its custody, security, and periodic rotation are the responsibility of the editorial team; its loss, leak, or unauthorized use by third parties does not create any liability for Paideia Publishing Services LLC. Furthermore, Paideia Publishing Services LLC is not liable for integration errors, service interruptions, data loss, system inconsistencies, metadata synchronization failures, or any direct or indirect damages arising from the use, misuse, or inability to use the plugin or the LatArXiv API. The plugin is provided in its current state ("as is"), without guarantee of uninterrupted operation or future compatibility with versions of OJS or OPS other than those specified in the technical documentation. Any security incident, misuse, or violation of LatArXiv's terms of use will be handled directly with the responsible journal.
Legal
Exoneration
LatArXiv, Paideia Publishing Services and any third party services are NOT responsible for the content of the Services. The User assumes all risks associated with dealing with other users with whom the User comes into contact through the Services. In the event a dispute arises between the User and another user, the User hereby agrees to release LatArXiv, Paideia Publishing Services and any third party services from all claims, demands and damages associated with such dispute.

Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use and Legal Terms are governed by Argentine or U.S. law as the case may be at the discretion of Paideia Publishing Services. Any dispute arising out of their application, interpretation, enforcement or validity shall be resolved by the competent national ordinary courts, located in the city of Laboulaye, province of Cordoba, Argentina, except as specifically provided by public policy rules, such as, for example, legislation relating to the Consumer. For all purposes related to these Terms and Conditions and the use of the Site, Paideia Publishing Services establishes its domicile at Italia 147, General Levalle, Córdoba, Argentina or at 2810 North Church Street, Wilmington, DE 19802 US.
