Collective memory and educational heritage in the digital era: the role of artificial intelligence in the recovery of the memory of emigration in older adults

This text explores the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in recovering the memory of emigration in older adults, a key demographic group in the construction of educational heritage and collective memory. Through a review of academic literature and the analysis of practical experiences, the educational, social and cultural implications of this process are examined, focusing on the role of ICT and AI in the collection, preservation and transmission of life stories and migration experiences. At the same time, the benefits and challenges of AI in this context are discussed, as well as the opportunities it offers to promote intergenerational learning and strengthen community ties, in line with the principles of Social Pedagogy.
