In this empirical article, the main motive was to calculate the water and carbon footprint of the tourism industry, on the shore of Puno near the pier where tourists set sail to the different destinations that are; urus with the highest demand for this followed by taquile and amantani. Our main objective is: Determine the environmental impact of the tourist transportation industry in the Puno dock. In which 5 water samples and 5 soil samples were taken to later be analyzed at the UPeU monitoring laboratory, in which the following parameters were calculated. In the water; PH, C.E (electrical conductivity), turbidity, iron, sulfates and D.O. (dissolved oxygen), for soils; PH. Electrical conductivity. The C.D is related to salinity since the higher the C.E, the greater the presence of salts, the results obtained from the 5 samples carried out exceed 1800 µS/cm which indicates a high salt content, with the O.D it is interpreted accordingly. that all have a content greater than 5 mg/L which indicates a sufficient concentration for most of the species present in the lake, presence of detergents, as a conclusion we reach that some of the parameters in most of the points are appropriate according to The 2017 water ECA, compared to others, exceeds the maximum permissible values, but this study would need to take more samples to improve the precision of the results obtained in this study.
