Adolescent suicide is an increasingly important public health problem in Argentina and the world. The growing demand for mental health services indicates the need to develop new strategies to effectively address this problem. A novel care device is a particular form of team competition, focused on promoting resilience, social and emotional skills, cooperation and communication, which uses the production of participatory videos on factors associated with suicide in conjunction with the community. The inclusion of instances of meeting between adolescents with the inclusion of workshops, allows the exchange and the generation of instances of reflection and group learning. This proposal is consistent with recommendations for the prevention of suicide as a social-community problem, promoting adolescent participation and strengthening the community bond, considering adolescents as subjects of law. Results: The device requires a low investment per participant and has obtained a high participation in quantitative and qualitative terms; the adherence of participants to the device is high. The qualitative evaluation of the program highlights the importance of the timing of video socialization and the influence of the social context on topic selection. Future research is required to know its results in terms of protective factors of suicide.
