Development of a didactic sequence for strengthening lexical competence students of the Gustavo Restrepo IED mediated by the classroom educational platform

Information and communication technologies have become a tool for educational processes and have motivated
students towards their school processes. The general objective of this research is to develop a didactic sequence to
strengthen lexical competence mediated by Classroom educational platform. The methodology used is exploratory
since it affects the knowledge and mastery of Greek and Latin etymologies in the Spanish language and the approach
is qualitative because it allowed us to know and understand the way in which students interpret and understand what
they read, developed the activities proposed in the didactic sequence, an entry test was applied as a prior diagnosis
and exit test on the knowledge of certain words, the results were analyzed and from these, the need to strengthen
lexical competence mediated by a digital educational platform was determined, becoming an innovative strategy to
strengthen the teaching-learning processes of the Spanish Language aimed at reading comprehension, specifically
strengthening lexical competence, implicitly the students and parents improved their skills in the use of ICT and the
teacher increased their pedagogical practices.
