The solution to the problem of citizen security seen from the perspective of its multiple causes and the consequences it generates, has been a constant of the authorities that govern the Venezuelan state in matters of Public Security and is led by the efforts of President Nicolás Maduro and the different public security organizations in their municipal, state and national territorial spheres. Consequently, one of the aspects that is very important is that, once those structural and cyclical factors that promote crimes, violence or any violation of the law have been specified, it is undoubtedly the correction of the courses of action by the of the authorities in charge of enforcing the law and achieving the long-awaited social peace and sense of security that everyone deserves. In this sense, the communal police or community police have a purely preventive approach, approaching the very heart of the communities, a position that gives them a great advantage in preventing as it allows observing the social phenomenon of the criminal and other forms of violence. in the front row and then take measures to prevent these events from happening. Now, this article aims to first describe some cases about the experience of communal police at the Latin American level, and then make a small analysis where the positive aspects of these experiences will be highlighted. To achieve this, the approach is based on a qualitative paradigm similar to that of phenomenological hermeneutic paradigm, using a field design oriented to the descriptive level, taking into account the use of constant comparative and analytical methods.
